Dad loved country music and I have many memories of watching the family band, Gold dust and also of the music at all our family gatherings. One of dad's favourites that Jimmy and Janet sang was Bobby McGee. Dad also loved Glen Campbell and John Denver, we would play the records in the best front room when visitors came. John and Joan, Aunty Liza and Uncle Bill and of course his beloved brother Uncle Jim with Aunty May.
