Dedicated to the memory of Joe
This site is a tribute to Joe, who was born in St Helens on December 12, 1931 and died peacefully at home 26th March 2020. Joe was a very special man, a devoted husband, a loving and proud father, a wonderful and adored Grandad, beloved Uncle to many and dear friend and neighbour.
Joe was also a lifelong and committed Saints fan. He is much loved by many and will always be remembered fondly by those who knew him.
Due to the current situation with COVID19 there will be small restricted funeral service which can only be attended by immediate family.
We will hold a memorial mass later in the year which we hope can go some way to replace the funeral we would have liked for Joe. We know that many people would love to visit Vera and are not able to at the moment, which is very difficult for all of us. To try to compensate a little we have set up this site so that people can share their memories, stories, photographs , music and even videos in tribute to Joe. We will then have a lasting tribute where we can share our thoughts and memories of a truly wonderful man.
We have set up a charitable donation fund for Steve Prescott Foundation to which people can contribute in his memory, if they wish to do so. We respectfully ask that you don’t send flowers for the funeral.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone from our amazing family and the carers from Second to None and Crossroads who have provided such loving care and support over the past 15 years and in particular over the past few weeks.
